Tracey Smith on Ready Steady....

Do you think The Good Life could be remade, with me or Dave playing Tom Good (maybe not!)? If you have seen something on TV or heard something on the radio recently that you want to talk about, tell us here.

Good call. Forgotten all about that.

That makes a grand total of 3 things worth watching on TV over the christmas period (the other two being the This Life special tomorrow, and the Green Wing special on Thursday).

I hadn't forgotten about RS Cook but I had 4th Jan in my mind! Luckily I checked this morning so I will try my best to remember to watch it.

It was originally 4th Jan and the Beeb changed it, like they do!

I watched it and enjoyed it! Good on the girls for spreading the word!

They seem to make so many more things in their 20 mins these days on RSC don't they? When I first used to watch it they usually made 2, max 3 things, now they can manage 4 or 5!!!

After all that I missed it. Called out to repair someone's leaking shower. How inconsiderate of them.

It was very interesting - even my son stopped playing with his dragons to watch it!! Especially like the sound of the induction cooker - that would be worth finding out more about!!

I've had induction. Don't buy one - they are not very good unless all you want to do is boil water fast. Try to make a white sauce/roux and you've had it - impossible to get the temp just right - it's all or nothing with these things. Mine cost €1000 as well!

I studied them a lot before deciding to buy one and it's the first I've heard about it saving on electricity. In fact it needed a 32 amp fuse, same as your oven, as it is pulling inordinate amounts of electricity!

I'm back to bottled gas and you can't get cheaper than that, AND I can cook normally on it!
