Hey adekun Ive moved to France from Thetford!! How long ago were you in Bury?

I was in Bury for around 25 years, I left in February. My parents left in June and are in the process of buying a place, somewhere between Poitiers and Limousin - not to far from where you are?

Not far no, Poitiers is only an hour away. We were in Thetford for 18 years (and 10 previously) upto 2 years ago, watched it growing from a lovely, small place to a not so friendly, huge town - my hubby spent most of his 41 years living in and around Bury. Small world eh?

The world seems to be getting smaller. My father spent quite a lot of time working in Thetford. Pretty rough ride in engineering etc. So glad they have made it over to France.

Where about in Thetford did he work? (if u dont mind me asking). Hubby worked at Perry Equipment Ltd (they were located at Rymer Point near Barnham, on the Bury Road until moving to Thetford) for over 20 years before getting made redundant - that was the deciding factor to come here really.
