We have practically eraticated the bindweed from the two places where it grew on our land, mainly because the alpaca's think it is really delicious and keep pulling it up and eating it, then washing it down with the stinging nettle roots I dig up and leave around for them

Also be cautious about attracting alpaccas as I've heard they're hard to get rid of once you have them. They poo in the same spot you know

Those lads flew in one day, during the bindweed season so obviously an alpaca attractant plant, set up home, crapped in one corner every day and have never left.

Making it lawn and leaving the mowings where they fall would increase fertility. Maybe return a section to grass and see how it goes

Since trying new 'Bindweed'TM (pat pending), my bunnies have been bunnier, hopped more and thier poo tastes even better

9 out of 10 bunnies that expressed a preferance said life is better with 'Bindweed'TM (pat pending)

I have bind weed in my honeysuckle planter, in the fence, and growing though the plastic layer under the gravel and if I stand still long enough it would have me it's a pain to me as I have walking difficulties and I trip over the stuff, any other ideas then rabbits and alpacas as very small garden I have been at war with it for five years

I had a lot of it in my old place, we backed on to a playing field and it was forever coming through. We just used to be very vigilant and pulled itout when we saw it, same with mare's tail. It did eventually lessen to a manageable degree and our last season there it was minimal. Mind you, it was last year so it was probably drowned!!!
