Just want to say hello and thank you for letting me into this forum ....I live in Maine with my wife and our animals ....Love the mountain way of life and would not give it up for the world ,,We have a snow storm that is beating us up right now so If no one hears from me we had a black out ...We use off grid methods but havent had the time to install all of the parts as of yet ...

Haha, yes, snow is attractive at a very great distance, or when it's finished falling and is lying in a not-too-thick layer, say about a foot deep. A little snow is nice.

We're in the mountains too and i love it. We've got 360 degree mountain views. The weather here has been lovely though, took some pictures when we were out walking the dog yesterday just up the lane from our orchard.
