It is a nice thread!

When i was at Uni there was a homeless bloke who used to sit at the entrance to the alley towards my house.
I always gave him chocolate or chips.

Once, as i walked down the alley he began to follow me. Being suspicious i turned round and told him that i would break his neck if he came closer...then he explained that he wanted to see me get home safely because i was nice to him.

After that, i chatted to him a bit and we talked about why i gave him food and not money. He was more grateful for the hot chips on a cold day.

i grew out of my paganism upon leaving high school and going to uni but i still hold onto this ideology.

do nice things and nice things will happen to you.
it is ture.
if you're horrible to people no one will like you or do anything nice for you.

although there is allways the risk of people taking advantage of your nice nature, but they will allways get whats comming to them in the end.
Totally agree with this. I once lost a £10 once and just thought aw well. someone will get luck finding it. A few days later I found a £20 blowing around with no obvious owner in sight

Go for it Jerry! But don't follow my technique.....bought a lucky dip for £1. Won £10. Went to the shop and claimed the prize and the Asian man who owned said his shop was really lucky....so bought ten lucky dips and won £54. Went back and he said 'told you!' So bought fifty four lucky dips.....nothing! :(

Such a lovely thread

Sometime I like to imagine what the world would be like if no one stole anything, and no one harmed anyone. Think of all the freedom we'd have! and all the billions of money that would be saved from security that could be spent more usefully. No one would fear each other, or be in danger from war. I know this is total idealism and unreal...but just imagine!

sorry getting carried away here.

....more stories please!
