Zoe, I'll second that - 5ft 10 is not the most convienient height to be trying to buy 2nd hand clothes!

Aargh, poor you. I once put too much pressure on a paper brick maker and put a dirty great cut in my hand. Sympathies to you.

Sometimes saving money has consequences that make you wonder if it's all worth while.
I think that my compost heap is a fairly safe way of saving money. It seems to be growing nicely and will be turned into place later in the year to replace the one I shall spread on the plot when the courgettes are finished. So next year there will be another courgette bed which will be added to the allotment when the courgettes have finished. A very virtuous money saving cycle.

Ouch - you poor thing. Hope you're feeling better now.wabbit955 wrote:may be that was not such a good idea me press thingy broke as i was putting full presure on it and now got a 6cm cut in my head were i head butted the floor and spent the last hour in the hosptal
A couple of years ago my boiler broke down during the snow. A friend said I could collect some free wood for the fire from their house. So I drove down the country lane but didn't see the pot hole. I burst a tyre and damaged a wheel. So that 'free' fire wood cost me over £250 for a new tyre and wheel!
