this morning, it smells of my first ever batch of croissants and pains au chocolat... there's room for improvement but it's a good start!

just off topc, do you have the recipe please? I've recently used jusroll croissants in a can as they're lactose free, but I think I could do better lol.

right now my house smells of roasting chicken and spagbol, I portioned up a chicken carcass this morning, froze the boobies, wings and drums and put the rest in the oven for sarnies and soup/stock. I also made a big batch of spag bol to freeze in individual portions. later on i'm planning to follow a tutorial I saw on how to make pain au chocolat with just puff pastry (jusroll again, the wonderful cheap buggers) and so the house will probably smell of burnt chocolate knowing my luck lol.
oh how I love my tea, tea in the afternoon. I can't do without it, and I think I'll have another cup very

Well i couldn't get a peculiar smell out of my work tops and having tried every natural remedy I could think of I relented and bought some Ariel gel tablets.

OMG those things stink, so now my home smells like a chemical laundrette!! and to think I paid sooooo much money for them too :angryfire: :angryfire: :angryfire: However they do seem to have shifted whatever the hell was on my work tops causing the strange wiff.

Cress growing on a windowsill, fried egg (eughhh, but hubby had a craving!) and coffee brewing. Oh, and there is a whiff of new mown grass if you stand near the window!
We all have two gifts we should try to use as much as possible - imagination and humour.
Imagination compensates us for what we are not.
A sense of humour consoles us for what we are.
And wisdom tells us not to worry about it!

Freedom now that we have gotten rid of the housemate who discovered he had a fondness of ketamine & then started with daily mail style rants. Also smells of a heady mix of rose, sandalwood & ylang ylang
