Hello from Cornwall
Hi everyone! My name is Mel, and my family of 3 (soon to be 4) have recently moved to Cornwall after a 10 month stint in the US. It's great to be back, as long as I forget about the congestion, prices and ridiculous planning restrictions. We have been desperate to begin some sort of self sufficientish lifestyle and think we might finally get a chance with a quarter acre plot we hope to rent. We plan on implementing permaculuture principles and with any luck could (eventually) produce enough fruit, veg, eggs and honey for the family. Cross your fingers that we can get started ASAP!

Hi there and welcome!
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

Welcome from me in Cornwall as well, just. I am also embarking on Permaculture, Martin Crawfords book collected from the Library yesterday!
Best of luck.

No I won't use a smiley because I've decided to turn into Boboff, as he's turned all nice all of a sudden. Grumble grumble.

Thanks all! And hope you enjoy Crawford's book, Bob. It's really brilliant.

Sat on the swing chair in the sun reading it now, never seen a book that advocates 1.5 pees per bush! Oh My! I have booked on one of his cources in June, really looking forward to it.
