Rosemary tea
Sounds really good. Does anyone here drink it and notice it doing good?

Re: Rosemary tea
I drank a daily mug of rosemary and fennel seed tea for years (working rotating three shifts my digestive system didn’t know if it was coming or going). I made it using a sprig of fresh rosemary; very soothing to drink but the main benefits seemed accumulative.

Re: Rosemary tea
I was joking before but I really ought to use rosemary more often even if only to chuck a sprig in the bathwater. It's one of the few herbs usable in the middle of freezing cold winter. Never tried drinking it though as I've never been into herbal teas. I suppose, much like bay leaves, that I don't think about them until after dark and I'm cooking dinner and I'm not going out with a torch to go and get some!

Re: Rosemary tea
well, just made muself some... loved it.
I thought I might have to add a little honey. but no. it was great on it´s own!
i did consider buying a coupe more plants this morning at the market, but dsecided to wait till I´d tried it.
Definitely on my list for next week. 2 or 3 plants at least!

Re: Rosemary tea
Just had to try it and yes, it's highly acceptable, just on its own. That article is interesting. Thanks for that, southeast-isher.niknik wrote:well, just made muself some... loved it.

Super easy to propagate, half a dozen tips 3'' long, strip the last 1'' and pot up all 6 around the edge of a 9cm pot, water well cover with a clear plastic bag secured with an elastic band .Kitchen window sill in decent light,at least half should strike within 6 weeks.
maybe save a bit of cash and have fun at the same time. Best Wishes.

Re: Rosemary tea
Just buy one and take cuttings from it as you'll have lots of new plants from it for free. Then as you live in Spain wait a few years and then start wondering what to do with all the self seeded rosemaries taking over your garden.
Mine is a menace!

Just wo´nt be propagating my one today... It´s snowing!
Only very lightly. but snowing nonetheless. i hust hope it doesnt getheavy, or set, as I´ve got a portion of the roof that´s very weak.and would most likely cave in, if we get a heavy snowfall. ( have had up to 1m overnight in the past!)
and it certainly wouldnt do my seeds / seedlings any good either ( in a flimsy plastic grenhouse)
