Hello from wet Scotland

Post: # 201255Post StJon »

Hi folks,
found the site this morning and have picked up loads already. As I say raining today in the west but that means I don't need to water some of the planters I have, though I will go out this evening and wet the toms, peppers, peas and strawbs under plastic. I'm not a car driver so walk, cycle and use public transport. I love the outdoors, wee bit of foraging and using natural materials for crafts and projects. Look forward to learning and sharing.

Could you send a bit of rain to the Lanarkshire hills please.... been dry as anything here for weeks and the garden could really do with a watering.

Welcome to 'ish StJon
So it's YOUR fault for asking, is it? The rain, yes......we could have done with some of that, but could it PLEASE wait until I've brought the nappies in off the line? Perhaps only rain at night? That would be fine.......

Welcome to Ish, Jon.
I took my dog to play frisbee. She was useless. I think I need a flatter dog.

Hi St John I'm in Galloway and just waiting for the rain to start at last as our rivers have shrunk to nothing...........never thought I would be praying for rain, makes you think what it would be like to be in a country where the there is no rain for years.
