MMM, I second everyone here; the shawl is beautiful and looks so cosy. Well done :thumbright: .

And finished another jumper   - well it was finished about a week ago but took the last 3 days to sew up the raglan seams and do the neck then sew up the rest. It's reminded me why I only ever did raglan once in the past - what a bloomin' nightmare!!! Sewing up raglans with needle holders flopping about and trying to do it all neatly. :banghead:

Unfortunately the jumper I'm currently knitting for my hubby is raglan too  only at least this one doesn't have the decorative stitch where the seams meet so I can sew it up a bit quicker! :thumbright:

I'm beginning to wonder if I'll ever get out side and grow any veg this year now I've got a new hobby!

I need a bit of warmth as well :sunny: - yesterday's sunshine didn't inspire me to stay outside in it for very long (it was interspersed with a snow shower! ).

However the OH did some digging for me whilst I sat in front of the fire. :thumbright:

Oh I wish I could knit, crochet is great but I haven't attempted clothes other than hats yet!

Your jumper is gorgeous MMM, now we need a pic of the new one :flower:

It was my mum's birthday last week and she was really pleased with the shawl.

Took photos of the other jumpers today as I've finally finished my 6ft 4" husband's enormous jumper, boy did that take a long time to sew up!

Quality is fairly abysmal as I took the photos with his fancy camera  plus it is sooooo dark today.

Wow, MMM, your sewing up is immaculate. I have several cardigans and jumpers all ready to sew, winging their way to you

God, I hate sewing up, and it never looks like that!

I don't know how you can even see, especially the red one. That one was raglan too and I decided to do the fancy stitches after all (the pattern looked naff without them) and so it did take blooming ages as I really have to do it so neatly. Mum did me a raglan jumper and never looked on the right side as she was sewing it up so it's all skew-whiff!

But anyway, thank you to both of you!

And I think I will decline the sewing up, the rain is supposed to stop by next Tuesday and the post won't get here before then.

 wow , brilliant
I really need a jumper but am stuck finishing two pair of socks just now, can only do um in daylight as I'm so amateur I need to look at the knitting.
Love the idea of stitch'n'bitch but I couldn't do both at once
