newbie from macclesfield

Post: # 184822Post TheReaper »

hi all.

im johnathan from macclesfield.
im new to self sufficent style fo things, but have been very intot he idea for a while. unfortunatly i live in an apartment, so not able to do much, my garden consisits of a basil plant on my window sill haha.
but i am a keen cook, and the idea of growing my own food etc int he future, and down to hunting if i knew where to go and fishing is something i find very exciting. and also energy sources, but one thing at a time lol.

well will see you around the forum.
and hopefully maybe find some people who know about foraging(sp) which would be really good.

cheers
johnathan

Hi Johnathan  - I assume your Mum couldn't make up her mind?

You're going to be pleasantly surprised at exactly how many herbs, chillis, tomatoes etc. you can grow on that basil-holding windowsill. Especially in Cornwall.
