101 things you would like to receive for Christmas

101 Uses For is popular and let's hope it stays that way. Our second book is presently called 101 tips for self sufficiency; we will certainly dip into this section for ideas. So post away and let's try and get at least one thread up to 101.

Just as an aside to Homegrown's post I still have glass milk bottles and home delivery and I keep them both for convenience and principle!!

23. Believe it or not - face cloths and oven gloves as these don't exist in France (face mitts and oven mitts only  ) and fun tea towels with prints of places and things on them for the same reason. I hate boring French ones - plain with a stripe or two. :(

24. Season 3 Desperate Housewives - I am getting this as I already ordered it from Amazon!

25. An Australia calendar - yup already received that from my 2nd cousin

26. Chocs of my choosing - and yup will be getting that too!

It doesn't take much to please me.

27. A sitting room for my mother - done!!!! We've got it dry-lined and floored while she's in Manchester, OH is plastering over the joins as I write and I'll sand it and paint it during the week. She'll want a carpet and sofa, but will come back to find a new, clean, freshly painted room, all her furniture cleaned (by me), a rug in front of the hearth and her TV, complete with freesat. And if she doesn't like it - I'll have a new sitting room for Christmas
