draft consultation on scottish national planning policy.

Post: # 156937Post caithnesscrofter »

one week left to make your voice heard on the draft consultation for scottish national planning policy. Hugely disappointing there is no mention of low impact development eventhough this subject made it into previous nppg. If you think low impact development should be supported thru national policy this is your chance..... Go to the consultations section on the scottish gov website and write them an email this week! Relevant questions are 6, 9, 10 & 22.

Thanks for the reminder!

But what do you expect from those high-heid-yins... Have just looked at our local development plan, and under sustainable environment they can't think of anything else but litter picking...

Have you got a link CC? No time to go rooting I'm afraid, but would love to have a quick look-see and then send a grumpy email

aura, just google scottish gov and go to consultations... Scroll down to planning. Sorry urls on moby phones are a nightmare. Ina... Yes, i agree, all the policies are mere lipservice to their sustainability targets. Low impact development made it into previous policy because a few people shouted and screamed about it but, this time it has been left by the wayside... We are gonna need to scream and shout again. Your local development plan will be getting updated in the next few years as a result of this new policy so, it is this one that counts.
