Homeopaths! help!

Post: # 155431Post the.fee.fairy »

Help!

I've got Idiopathic Urticaria, and i've been suffering for nearly a week now.
I'd like to give a homeopathic remedy a go, rather than existing on antihistamines. I've read a few books, and Urtica urens seems to be the one to go for. Would you agree with me?

I don't know what the reaction is to. I think its chlorine, so i keep having mini-flares every now and then, but i was cleaning a fish tank with bleach last weekend, and its been annoying me ever since!

Now...J comes back from Italy on tuesday, so i kinda want it gone by Saturday...is that feasible? don't want him seeing me looking like a munchkin...

Sorry I don't do homeopathy, but thinking about it from a holistic perspective how about giving your body a break by cutting out dairy, caffeine, sugar, alcohol and red meat for a while and getting some dandelion and burdock tea or tincture.

I've experienced amazing results with skin problems from going to see a chinese herbalist myself and my dad was cured of his psoriasis in 6 weeks where 20 years of conventional treatment had failed. So worth going to if you can but I'd go somewhere that has been around for a while, I've noticed a lot of chinese herbal franchises opening up and you have to wonder...

Whenever I have problems now I just do the dietary changes first, which is what the chinese doctor recommended also, and that usually sorts it without the need to take anything.

Good luck, Clara

The alcohol and red meat are ok, i haven't had a drink for about a month and i don't eat red meat anyway.

I'll try giving up dairy and sugar and caffeine...but its going to be hard!!
