Hello from Plymouth!

Post: # 154997Post grannymags »

Hi,

I have already made a couple of posts so I thought I had better introduce myself!

I came across this forum when I was searching the internet for help with a problem and I am so glad. There is such a wealth of information and everyone is so friendly!

I have been married to John for 28 years, a retired farmer, who is much older than me. I have four grown up children and two beautiful granddaughters, Millie, 2 1/2 and Holly, 5months.

I Love:

Music (Play in a brass band!)
Spinning wool
Honiton lace making
Knitting
Parchment craft
Gardening, occasionally!

I Dislike:

Housework - I am the worlds worst housekeeper!
Bad drivers (The list could go on and on here!)
Uncaring people. (How can they be like this?)

I have just taken up spinning and lace making after a 20+ year break and am really enjoying it though nothing else is getting done! Poor hubby has had to get my spinning wheel and drum carder down from the loft and they need a bit of TLC but it is very exciting.

I found some inspiration on another post on this forum to help with my household chaos, so I feel better now and less guilty!

Well, thats enough of me! I am now going back to read more of your wonderful posts!

Maggie x
