New little dog!

Post: # 141138Post prison break fan »

This is just to let all those kind people who helped me so much with their messages of sympathy last month when I lost my little dog, that I have now aquired a new little girl. I didn't think I was ready for a long time yet, but on Saturday I met Poppy, who is four and a half, and needed a new home there and then! So home she came, and apart from not being too keen on the cat, all is going really well! Today we have wonderful snow and are just getting ready for our second walk. I shall soon be able to post on the fit-ish thread!! pbf

Aww, pbf - well done you!

Yes, it can take a few days to settle in with a cat, but it's fun!
So... when you're ready.... pix please!

And give her a hug from me - a new Ish dog, wonderful!

That's lovely! And isn't it often the way that something exactly right turns up when you ar least expecting it. Have fun with her!

how lovely!
we got our new dog one week after our old dog died - 'Rusty' was an unwanted cairn of a year old - and we couldn't leave him behind either! Now we have his nephew too -
One settee and half a carpet later, we are still doing well!
