Re: My Cycle tour (Bristol to Scotland) can I stay at yours?
The man had a few beers last night, knowing he wouldn't have to do another 60 miles today, and is still in bed. Well deserved rest. Weather looks great so far, so I'll be showing him the sights today he didn't see last night when he arrived in the dark...

Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

It was a great day yesterday - he wonders why we always complain about the weather, because all he's seen is brilliant sunshine! And it's set for another day of that... So he'll go back down south and tell everybody the sun always shines in Scotland.invisiblepiper wrote:Ceud mille Failte!

Anyway - I think there was something wrong with that last beer we had at 1am or so this morning. I'm really not looking forward to the day's work today...

you will have to remind him that complacency about the weather up here is a very dangerous thing, particularly this time of yearIna

He's here with a bottle of beer in hand - bike safely packed away in the car until tomorrow.

Does anybody have an idea why it keeps crashing on this PC? I've started several times now - the furthest in I got was about 2 minutes...Shirley wrote: Just watched Dave on the iPlayer. Watch it here
