Hello

Post: # 129848Post kagganz »

Hello I'm brand new to this site, I have been buying stuff week by week so that by next year I should have everything I need. Get ready for some (probably silly questions) from me in the future!

Hiya Karen - there are no silly questions here! I bet you if you ask something you think is silly, there'll be at least half a dozen others who think I always wanted to know that, too...

Welcome to the Ishers. :sunny:

Hi Karen and welcome from me. I am in the north west too. At the end of the day we all have to start somewhere and I have found this site (and the book) invaluable.
I , like you, have been buying my seeds etc ready for next year, so that it wont be a big expense come spring time. You will love it I am sure, watching all your veggies and herbs growing. Have fun! x :flower:

Hi Karen, welcome to Ish!

Why not try your potatoes in plastic barrels? They're more sturdy than using bags & can be used year after year....easier to move if necessary too!
