Hi all,
Just wanted to say Hello
Im 26 and although I'm not exactly self sufficient, I'm definitely trying to be more "green". It all started after becoming concerned with the horrifying amount of chemicals in everyday products, I read more into the subject (I'm a bit of a science nerd) and I switched to some greener alternatives (Ecover , Green People, vinegar and bicarb etc) and it all started from there.
I have 3 chickens (Hilda, Daisy and Penny Hen) and I try to garden organically too . I've just got my greenhouse so veggies are next on the agenda!

Hello and welcome. One of our chickens (our first one) is named Penelope, but we often call her "Penny Hen".
