maybe could u

Post: # 138869Post Paul the Gardener »

I was just looking through the fourm and I though that there's almost something on here to do with everything but I didn't see anything on here about fishing
So could you start a thread on fishing it might just be something different.
Its just a suggestion though. :andy: :dave:

Hi Paul and welcome! Why don't you start one - it's easy - just go for it!
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

I may be a bit dense (almost certainly :sunny: ), but how do you start a new forum category, as opposed to new thread ?
Hi there Paul :salute:

He did say thread as opposed to category, so I assumed it would be something that could be put into and exisiting category. If what's needed is a new category then I can always ask the other mods

I could start a thread on fishing, but i'm an ex- trawlerman & i don't think Paul means that type of fishing!!
it's either one or the other, or neither of the two.

Here, here, Russ. Even better is lobster, fresh out of the sea, through the galley & onto your plate for breakfast!
it's either one or the other, or neither of the two.

We never seem to have that many threads on fishing and we are trying to keep categories to a minimum..... but I will make sure the other Admin folks know bout it and we will get back to you.

For the moment use the wild foods section, that seems the most appropriate....no?

Ok, I have added the words "and fishing and hunting" to the wild food section. If there is enough activity to warrant a fishing section then I will add it.
