attach a foldaway table

The whole reason for the selfsufficientish website was to offer a place where anyone can ask, HOW DO I...? So who knows why it has taken us so long to have a HOW DO I? section, but here it is. So if you want to know how to do anything selfsufficientish then here is the place to ask.

attach a foldaway table

Post: # 293920Post fruitfly »

My idea is to attach a small table to a wall that will fold against the wall but will have to have a support under it that will also fold against the wall. I don't even know what the terms are, so if someone can understand from that what it is I want, can you at least tell me what vocabulary I should be using to make a search? :?

I don't know if one attached to a wall really has a "proper" name unless you would call it a drop-leaf table - we did have an old wooden folding table years ago that was called a campaign table - designed to be packed up and moved with the Officers "camping" furniture during military campaigns; we still have an iron four poster campaign bed in the shed somewhere.
