cut trees

The whole reason for the selfsufficientish website was to offer a place where anyone can ask, HOW DO I...? So who knows why it has taken us so long to have a HOW DO I? section, but here it is. So if you want to know how to do anything selfsufficientish then here is the place to ask.

Hello there ,

the trees at the back are getting tall , they are cutting out the sun . Do not want them all gone , but is it possible to take out
the top 5 foot , will they survive this ? They are conifers and christmas trees ,

regards ,

Paul

Those things will survive anything short of nuclear holocaust, Paul. You can certainly take off 5 feet - they'll hardly notice. Autumn is the best time to do it.
