Made up jokes

Post: # 88546Post Andy Hamilton »

Occasionally I make up jokes, not sure about my latest I think it needs a little bit of refining -

Got a book out from the library called, "money management and organisational skills". I can't find it and it's three months overdue.

Ok, then there is this one that is the makings of a joke but needs a lot more work. Any ideas of how to change it would be most welcome.

Two blokes tuning a piano

One bloke plays and A as he does the other bloke hears a creaking sound and he falls through the floor boards. He brushes himself off then the bloke plays a B, a chandelier falls and knocks him out.

As he comes to he see's his mate about to play a C and so he shouts, "NOOOO, worse things happen at C".

Ahem, I thank you.

They really made me laugh out loud! I have "that" type of sense of humour! Unfortunately I think it's rubbed off onto my kids. Here are a couple of their made up offerings:
How do you know Berti Basset is a boy?
He has aniseed balls!

What do you call a man who sits on a pineapple?
Spike!
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

my husband is still 10 years ols when it comes to the level of his jokes

One of his favourites is to go into the library when its quite busy and ask for 'unusual' book titles...such as 'Backpacking for Agrophobics'...and see how long it takes them to see the funny side
Give us Lord, a bit o' sun,
A bit o' work and a bit o' fun;
Give us all in the struggle and sputter
Our daily bread and a bit o' butter.

Why did the man cut a hole in his carpet? He wanted to see the floor show!

Why did he put it back? he didn't want to see the "hole" show!

OK OK I'll shut up now.
