The easiest way is to upload to somewhere like Flickr. Then, on here, click on the Img button (in the posting bit) and copy and paste the image address in it.
Hope that makes sense. Oh, one more thing, when you right click on your pic to get the address Flickr asks which size - I always go for medium 500 which seems to fit nicely.
