Man Flu

Post: # 258308Post sleepyowl »

I have hoovered, tidied the kitchen, planted seeds, done the weekly shop, fixed the toilet seat, transplanted a couple of plants, & done some laundry despite having the lurgy. So why do women think us men as being unable to cope when we have a cold?

Clearly you have a cold and not man flu. Man flu is a debilitating disease... at least that is what Peter tells me.

Man flu is a very serious illness which can be treated only by sitting in front of the telly, sipping cold beer and watching Star Trek re-runs.

Failure to do any part of that can be fatal.

Ahhh, sorry to hear you're poorly. It's amazing what a healing effect daytime TV can have.

Get better soon.

I like to think of man-flu as our retaliation for having to put up with PMT. Women get PMT but it's the men who suffer with it!
