Message to Stonehead,

Sorry Mate, must be hell for you and family, to far away to offer Help, so can only send our thoughts and hopes that its not as bad it appears.

Hang in there mate Eddy
I can't do great things, so I do little things with love.

Really bad news, I left him a message in that other place.

Do we have any other Ishers around that area who might lend a hand for a day or two while they decide what to do?

Sending positive and healing vibes Northwards - it really didn't sound good! On the up side - he must be feeling a bit better as he's managed to blog about it!
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

Thanks John, and thanks to all for the support. I'm going to be on very limited duties for some time (months), plus I won't know until next week if my wrist will need pinning or not. The worst thing is not the injury, painful as it is, but the enforced boredom. I'm not used to sitting around, 'taking it easy'. I'm already muttering.

I'm blogging about it because it gives me something to. The other option is to lie on the sofa and watch daytime TV. Urgh. I enjoy reading and have few things to hand (a copy of Gerard's Herbal arrived yesterday), but I need to be active. I'd rather sit at the computer, right arm in the air like a traffic cop stopping traffic and blog with my left hand than lie on the sofa watching Kung Fu: The Legend Continues or Loose Women.

Incidentally, are the schedulers correct in their assumption that everyone who watches daytime TV is a moron?

No I won't use a smiley because I've decided to turn into Boboff, as he's turned all nice all of a sudden. Grumble grumble.

x2....for the sake of your very existence(let alone swift recovery) advise you avoid Louse Women, and the orange antique dealer.

Oldjerry's signature says it all. A lyric from Jethro Tull.

Here's hoping the arm mends quickly and you can get back in action asap. As a slight positive it qives you time to catch up on your reading.
Has anyone seen the plot, I seem to have lost mine?
