Post: # 178228Post Gert »

Hi All

If this has already been asked, then please forgive me, but I'm curious to know where our main clusters of Ishers are. I know there are a bundles in various counties in England some in Scotland, America and France, but I'd be interested to know where are the main hotspots in the world.

If people want to post on this thread their location, by county, state or whatever the regions are called in your country, then I'm happy to tot it all up and post the results, if others are interested.

All the best

Gert

P.S. here's one for Wiltshire

There was a map once upon a time, although I found it really hard to use - it used to jump all over the place for me.

Gert - here's an idea for when you are feeling a bit bored. Why not go through the member list and tot it all up and let us know the results? :laughing6: :laughing6: :laughing6: :laughing4:

this is something that has been on the backburner for ages

if you go to your profile http://www.selfsufficientish.com/forum/ucp.php?i=164 and add your latitude / longitude (down the bottom)

(Visit this website to get your location's latitude and longitude in decimal degrees.)

then at least I will have some data to play with, if I get it working I will let you know.
Then we will have to work out how to get rest opf the Ishers to enter their latitude / longitudes :thumbright:

Do the majority of users have their location in their profile filled in?

I have some experience with both google maps and bing - if you need any help.
