Pallet Computer Desk!

Post: # 261259Post alun »

I've just finished my first interior pallet project.
A new computer desk. Only cost me £10 for the glass top to make it all smooth for my keyboard and mouse!
Hope you all like it! Follow the link below to see the photos on my site.

Very smart!! My hubby's going to make one for our front porch to turn it into an office, we have a pantry with all the shelving made from pallets, must put some pics on.

That's lovely. It must have taken an age to sand down all that pallet wood! :thumbright:

Very impressed! Did you find the glass first and decide to make it into a desk or did you have the pallet and look for the glass? I am jealous, our "converted" (hole drilled in the back for all the cables) bureaux cost £120! (it is sort of antique)

Brilliant - I am envious of your talent. I would like to make a pallet potting bench but have an enormous to do list.

It looks very good. A friend of mine used to work for an engineering firm and high value items such as gearboxes came in on pallets made of surprisingly decent timbers, there was oak , maple , beech tropical hardwoods and the usual pines. I made him a bench out of the oak which pleased him.
The picture of the wall at the top of your website brings back memories of my primary school head masters front garden where he had formed the fence out of lorry tyres chained together. It's sadly been replaced with the usual non discript fencing we have nowadays.
