New greenhouse

Post: # 198666Post homegrown »

Well I have finally managed start building the greenhouse, Its mad from an old shed frame I aquired and lots of old wooden windows I brought for about ten dollars, this is also allowing me the space to start my vegetable gardens up again and its alot straighter than rathe crooked woodshed I built a couple of weeks back, which has no wood in it because all my tools are in there, the garage frame is now complete but it stll doesn't have a roof or cladding.

But we are getting there, I'll post a pic when I can find where we packed the camera.

That is pretty good. The structure exhibits a lot of skill. Well done.

Wow - that's very impressive indeed. I hope you'll add more photos to show us how it progresses. Brilliant deal on the windows! what does it measure? I think it would take up two-thirds of my garden, but it's inspiring just the same!
We all have two gifts we should try to use as much as possible - imagination and humour.
Imagination compensates us for what we are not.
A sense of humour consoles us for what we are.
And wisdom tells us not to worry about it!

It's great! A friend of mine has done something similar but it is an extension of his shed, all done with salvaged windows too. He is over the moon with it.

Well I'm about halfway through putting the roof on now, but we had some strong winds today and I didn't fancy taking off with a large window in my hands, so I took a day of rest, if fine tomorrow will take a picture and post it.
