Dagnabit! You got all the "looking sheepish" jokes in first. My brain won't run to any more

Great stuff, he looks brilliant, warm and toasty - when are you making the hat to finish the ensemble?
Oh I had'nt thought of that, now you've gone and done it   , he gots to have a hat too, a big long pixie style one.

Watch this space

I love it!

Did you make the pattern yourself? If not where did you get it? I have been searching for a pattern everywhere!!

Excellent Keaniebean - you should sell them. I have the opposite problem with my hubby in that he likes to be in the buff as much as possible  - one lost sale there I'm afraid! But seriously, well done, a great idea.

I found this site and it was going to cost me £68 for one!!!!!!!!!1

No way! So I made one instead, which cost me around £25, but I have the pattern to keep obviously so i think its sleepygros all round, and if ever you need to dress up like a monkey.... well you know where to come as the pattern was meant to be for an adult animal costume!
Well, I think you have proved that you cannot be "fleeced!!"

I think it looks great..I want one with feet in it and also can we have a back view...is there a "c***p flap" like kids have?
I did a quick search and ended up with lots of sites with man nappies and things
Do they do the fabric with piggies on it?? Where did you buy it?

The pattern is from an adult costume which I bought from here.

http://www.abakhan.co.uk/acatalog/info_19332.html

and they sell fleece too, although I don't think they had a piggy one. I spent ages looking for one with feet but, this one just had spats coverings which was not what I wanted. I could have tried to make my own but I'm just not that confident about it.

Unfortnately there is no 'crap flap',Battybird, lol.

Well if you aren't confident about making feet ..I definetely wont try!! I am fine for patchwork and cross stitch but my clothes making is variable to say the least! I suppose one could knit thick woolly socks to keep the toes warm! I always fancied getting my OH into one of those "cosy bag" things that zip up and include both feet...the thought of watching him "hop" or shuffle to the loo makes me crease up
Hey, even I could make one of them...!! Thats his Xmas pressie sorted!

I have just been in a cheap chainstore P*****k and they have fleecy suits (for women) in cow pattern or with stars at £8! With feet  so I now want to buy one but have reservations about where they make their clothes...they were noted for using Indian sweatshops and I dont want to support them! :( what a dilema...I guess I will have to go without!

I think this is pretty much the best thing ever. Half of me wants to make one for my partner, half of me is worried if I made him one he'd wear it all the time, including out of the house and possibly to work.

That's fab Mamos. He looks a little less sheepish posing for the photo than my dearly beloved.
