I found a fabby site

Tomorrow's World was a show on BBC TV about innovations and tech stuff and I thought a good name for our computing and tech section.

I found a fabby site

Post: # 167984Post Milims »

If you are into music try Spotify. I've had great fun over the last few days listening to all kinds of music. It's basically a sort of radio site, but you can choose your own tracks, make a play list etc. It has a huge range of music on it - I even found Popo the Puppet by Danny Kaye - my fave song as a wee one. It also has lots of backing tracks - so you can have your own personal karaoke (I've driven my OH mad  ) And it's FREE!
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

My gal put it on my desktop just last week. Good, huh? I can handle the odd advert.

Alas, it's gone from free to invite only again.

Any Ishers that would like to invite me, I would be very pleased to accept!

If it is only the free users who are subjected to adverts then I would be very peeeed off if I were advertising on spotify and they had closed the service to new members.

I am not sure what their strategy is. maybe they want to get rid of all the free members and only have premium members.

I have noticed an increase in the frequency of the adverts but it is still worth putting up with them.
