I came over to Brisol on the train on Saturday for a tutorial. I had planned to bring the bike so I could cycle over for a cuppa but had a flat so couldn't make it

Will try harder next time.

Cheers

p.s. can anybody help out or do you need food handling qualifications or anything? I shall be coming over to Brisol for tutorials about once a month so might be able to spare a few hours.

Shame you did not make it. There are always jobs to be done so I am sure we could put you to work!

I'm in Bristol BS5 9SS. It must be really close to me, so count me in for a visit, and to see if I can contribute in some way. I must say, I haven't noticed it yet though - is it still going? I will look around next time I'm shopping up there.

Best wishes, 2ndRateMind.

This sounds interesting - is it very fair from the train station or City College?

I don't have a car (don't want one either ;)) but I do pop into Bristol on the train some saturdays to attend Open University tutorials at the College.... is it somewhere I could walk/get a bus too from there?

It is just a short walk from Lawrence Hill Station

If you put on BBC1 at 12.30 on Sunday you will be able to see the inside as me and Dave did a bit for the Politics show in there (and on my allotment).

2ndratemind - just pop in for a chat if you want to help! We can always do with more DVD's, CD's, LP's etc if you feel like donating. Actually I might just pop there now.

Wow - here's a weird idea : why don't we all meet up ? Or is the shop not big enough ? Kick it around and see what you all think...............

Well I've got a few camping chairs and I don't mind standing if it means giving up my chair for a girly........

What time does the shop close ?

Also, and this is slightly off-piste I guess, what do people think about having a local Bristol area self-sufficientish group that meets up to exchange ideas, share skills and knowledge and discuss what has been discussed ? I guess that this is as much down to the approval of Dave and Andy as much as anybody, but what do people think of this in principle ?

Is the shop still there ? There are some pretty faceless flats opposite T**co's now so are you near that ?

Cheers
