101 non-swear words

101 Uses For is popular and let's hope it stays that way. Our second book is presently called 101 tips for self sufficiency; we will certainly dip into this section for ideas. So post away and let's try and get at least one thread up to 101.

I'm not sure where it came from, but an old neighbour of my grandparents used to say "fliggernickles"!!
When I was young people called me a hippy. Now I'm a bit older I'm just called environmentally aware..... that's progress!

I regulary use 'fudgestickle' these days. Other half likes saying 'cupid stunt' a lot...

A vegan forum I frequent use a foodie themed filter, so you have posts littered with asparagus, fork, shiitake, crepe and so on

My mother used to say "Bluestocking", which sounds very rude if you say it angrily enough.
And I love "Blood and stomach pills" , courtesy of Ivy in Last Of The Summer Wine, written by the wonderful Roy Clark.

Oo, it is nice to see this post was still going as recently as 3 weeks ago!

Recenly I just shout 'BOTTOM'! Doesn't seem to upset anyone

I had a giggle at my son this morning - he was annoyed at something on his x box thingy and shouted - Oh you Spoon!
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!
