Frugal Recipes from A Girl Called Jack

Post: # 273798Post Amaranth »

Jack Monroe has been taking part in the Live Below the Line Challenge. For the past several years, she has needed to cook very frugally and has posted some frugal recipes to her blog. Generally the meals are under 50p per serving. Her 9p spiced bean burgers are a favorite.

On the lower right side of her blog page look at entries for late April and May for her adventures on the Live Below the Line Challenge. At the top of the blog is a link to the various recipes.

Thanks for the link Amaranth. I have bookmarked the recipe pages. I may well have a go at making the veggie burger today, it really did look simple and I have all the ingredients in stock.
