How to make sour cream

I use the lemon in single cream method as only really use sour cream in burritos. This is from a thread on another forum I use though, apparently the buttermilk ensures the correct consistency as well as as taste.

Thought I'd try this out with my spare double cream and it has worked a treat.

1 part live buttermilk
4 parts double cream


Mix well, leave at room temperature for 24hrs, then refrigerate.
