I've been saving up loads of used ice lolly sticks and now the jar is full! I kept them because I thought they might come in useful for something. But now I want to make use of them, I can't think what to do with them. I don't need any for putting plant types on. Any ideas please?

Plant labels, kindling, model making, more ice lollies (make your own), small paint stirrers, diving boards for mice, budgie ski's........ :-)

Giggling at the diving boards and budgie ski's! I was thinking more in the line of something for the garden (don't say a miniature fence, Lol) You know, besides plant labels. But some clever little thing. I don't really know what I mean myself but you know, something that might replace something that people buy for gardening or growing stuff. I know there must be something. Just can't think what!

I tend to use mine for gluing or painting purposes rather than anything garden based. I have also used a few duct taped together as a handle for a scalpel blade (I do a lot of leatherwork and crafty stuff). I've no garden suggestions though, outside of plant labellers... :S

Well, I WAS going to suggest a fence for a dolls' house.

Dibber
Handling small seeds (plastic plant labels are better though)
Miniature plant support
Perch on a bird feeder/bird house
Glue them around the outside of a large plastic tub to make a plant pot cover
Cat plaything (especially if the mouse is still on it)
Scraping muck off boots
