I use the wooden pellet type cat litter for my two (they are outdoor cats but as they are still quite young I am a bit reluctant to get rid of the litter tray just yet, plus they are in every evening for the night). I was wondering if anyone has ever put it in their compost bin? Obviously minus the poo! Would that work?? It seems such a waste to chuck it in the bin! Thanks, Tracy

You can get litter that clumps each contribution to the litter tray, making it easy to remove all the clumps.
This sounds much less wastfull but I don't know what it is made from.
