Szia firelite! Köszönöm, jól vagyok. És maga? Hol laksz magyarországban?firelite wrote:Szia Zöld-Lány, hogy vagy? ;)
You're going to love Hungary, I know I do. Organic products are everywhere here -- there are lots of organic shops, though at least in my city fresh veggies are difficult to find as organic. But at least I don't have to go to T***o for veggies here (yes, everybody shops in T***o here): there are little vegetabe stalls down many streets...
While organic food is popular here, fair trade coffee is unheard-of, and recycling opportunities are scarce. Seems to me that here, organic food is more a "luxus food" of the more well-off people, than an eco choice.
If you're into wine, you should make a trip to one of the wine-growing regions -- you can buy grapes and wines straight from the producer... and they also make delicious sparkling wines here. But be careful with Pálinka - every hungarian will try to get some of that down your throat, but it's a vicious drink! You have been warned! :DD
I can't wait to get over there - it's killing me! But, at least I have good friends from Hungary here who are helping me to learn the language and feeding me up on many delicious Hungarian meals! I'm even learning to cook some of them! The latest ones have been meggleves & pógácsa.... YUMMY!!!
Örülök, hogy megismertem! Vigyázz magadra és hamar ismét beszélünk. (As you can probably tell, I'm still learning! )

Oh I meant to add that my friends here have already introduced me to pálinka! Easter time last year, they decided it would be highly amusing to make me try it.... the smell was bad enough.... but....
That stuff is the most potent, disgusting, horrible thing I have ever tasted! It wouldn't take much to become intoxicated, let's say that much!

Hello and welcome, I have been to hungury and loved it there. Only really saw the capital and one other place that I can't remember the name of. Seems a very open and relaxed country.
