Hello from the Wye Valley.

Post: # 291989Post Herbert »

Hi
My wife and I have lived on a smallholding near Monmouth for 9 years now and try to be as self sufficient as possible . We have sheep , chickens , pigs , a horse and a cat . I try to grow as much food as possible too with a large veg plot , soft fruit garden and small orchard. We enjoy cooking , brewing and making stuff too.
We are not off grid , we have a mains water supply ,electricity, and a phone line , but no gas or connection to mains sewage.
Thanks for having me , there looks to be a wealth of knowledge on here  :flower:

Hello Herbert, welcome to our forum.
You are right, there is a wealth of knowledge to be had on here, just use the search box and I'm almost certain any question has been raised before, although I can't guarantee that the question was answered.
