Hello from Co. Clare, Ireland
Hi my name is Ger and I'm living in Co. Clare Ireland. I work as an aircraft engineer. I love this site and am very interested in all things selfsufficientish. This year I intend growing my own vegetables, I'm getting my first ever chickens in a few weeks time and planting a small plot of willow for future fuel for the wood stove. I love little DIY projects especially those made from scrap. I've recently made some raised beds from old scaffold boards, a coal bunker from pallets and a very rudimentary cold frame lol... from pallet timber. I'm looking forward to sharing the ups and downs of my selfsufficiency journey with you all.
Ger.

Hi waxbill, what a lovely place Co. Clare is. I once stayed on a camp-site in Kilkee........... brilliant!
it's either one or the other, or neither of the two.

Welcome Ger. The Irish contingent really seems to be building momentum recently, which is great to see, as it's a great site. I am doing similar things to you, plus a bit of homebrew.
Cheers,
Billy.
