Alaskan bush people

Do you think The Good Life could be remade, with me or Dave playing Tom Good (maybe not!)? If you have seen something on TV or heard something on the radio recently that you want to talk about, tell us here.

Alaskan bush people

Post: # 280806Post littlemissrose »

I watched an episode of Alaskan bush people. I really liked it. But the question really is, as is with a lot of this type of shows,...

Real or fake.

What do you think?

I see you're in the Netherlands - where is this program broadcast? Can I watch it in the UK?

Ah - the Brown family. They look amazingly healthy, don't you think?

(Zech - you'll find them by Googling for "Alaskan bush people").

Do they have much bush in Alaska? Or is that just a term for a lifestyle rather than abundance of shrubbery?

Well I haven't yet found out how I get to watch it (apart from a trailer, which didn't exactly entice me), but I did enjoy this review: http://www.channelguidemagblog.com/inde ... ised-wild/

Yep from the netherlands. It's broadcasted on animal planet at the moment. The first episode was on yesterday. Don't know about watching it in the uk though.

They do look amazingly fit. And they are really acting like they haven't had a lot of contact with modern society.

It's just I don't want to start taking tips and tricks from a show that is staged. I find tv-shows like that really inspiring...
