The mighty boosh

Do you think The Good Life could be remade, with me or Dave playing Tom Good (maybe not!)? If you have seen something on TV or heard something on the radio recently that you want to talk about, tell us here.

It is very much a UK thing mate, and at that pretty much a cult viewing show. No one at work has heard of it either.

I've heard of it (does this mean I'm still a hip young thing?), but know absolutely nothing more about it. I actually thought it would have been spelled 'bouche' - French for 'mouth' - but this is only because there used to be a weird group in the 80s called La Grand Bouche.

I reckon it will be one of the following:

1) An even weirder group that has no musical ability at all, but wears a nice line in designer sunglasses
2) Something along the lines of Cricus Archaos, who used to juggle chainsaws, and suchlike
3) A hidden camera TV show that seems to go out of its way to be unfunny, like Trigger Happy TV
4) A TV comedy programme that seems to go out of its way to be unfunny, like Little Britain or Vic Reeves' Big Night Out
5) A group like Pookysnackenburger (sp?), who used to make music out of dustbins and things

Gad, I feel old today.

Circus Archaos, you're showing your age Stew, they were great though I saw them in Glastonbury when I was 15 they drove a car down a wire from the pyramid stage with loads of explosives in it - my memory could be distorted a bit though.

The Mighty Boosh is a late night comedy originally on BBC3 and has just been repeated on BBC2. They are fantastic, more like the Goodies than Reeves and Mortimer. If anyone gets the chance to see them live GO! - they're not for the easily offended though. There's some of their stuff on YouTube.com if you want to check them out.

I wonder if Vince will be doing a nature program in years to come and howard, Nabo and Bolo will be doing a cheap afternoon quiz show

:dave: Long live the boosh. Wow what a programme, this is amazing. They are comic wizards sent to cast a laughter spell on all who watch.

 Love the Mighty Boosh. It's got to be one of the weirdest comedy programs ever. The Goodies is definitely the closest thing.
