Natural World Episode with Rebecca Hoskings

Do you think The Good Life could be remade, with me or Dave playing Tom Good (maybe not!)? If you have seen something on TV or heard something on the radio recently that you want to talk about, tell us here.

Natural World Episode with Rebecca Hoskings

Post: # 149482Post Purdy Bear »

Just watched the Natural World with Rebecca Hoskings. It is a must see for anyone into preping and self suffiency.

Its all about how much fossil fuel is used on an UK farm and how by 2013 they estimate that these forms of fuel will be getting low.

They recommend ways to farm not using the fuels and also that we will all have to get invovled growing our own food (like WW2) to bring in suffiencent food for everyone.

The recommendations basically said to let the land go back to forestry with fruits grown on the ground underneath, with small clearings with sheep etc who were not only fed on grass but also trees.

Its a very interesting programme if you get to see it.

It convinced me to start growing my own.
