It grows best in eastern europe, for example in Ukraine

I am thinking of growing this years tomatoes in pots in the shade house. Keeping water up to them in the veggie garden was very difficult this year. The one thing that worries me is pollination, any thoughts on this?

Open door or window will allow pollinators in.

Tomatoes don't need pollinators, just tap each plant once a day to knock pollen down the flower.
I don't think I've ever seen a single bee on any of my tomato flowers, and to prove the point, I'm growing 5 tomato plants in pots on the window sill in the room I'm typing this, and they are all smothered in growing fruit.

I used my windowledge in the office last year and it was successful plus it was a great talking point with my colleagues. loads of people came along and said i remember my grandad growing tomatoes...
