4th year growing

am coming up to my 4th year of growing fruit, veg and herbs...
this is my 4th year in growing my F&V but i what to grow somthing nice were i can make my preants go woow... but i dont know what to grow so if any one as any good iders plz let me know... well this year up too now am growing...

I would hope your parents already go WOW! I would if either of my two had grown so much.

How much space do you have to grow stuff in? Do you have access to a green house or summat similar?

(As for the spelling...don't worry, most of us make mistakes, no-one will mind so long as we can work out what you mean. )

yes i have a green house which i love.. i grow most of my veg in bucket i dont dare to touch the grass am dad would kill me lol

so yes i have my own green house and one at my grandads he plants a few things but he has stopped growing fruit and veg since my nan died

what will get a wow - exotic and unusual? or quantity? fantastic taste?

maybe look at some of the heritage seeds - for old varieties. or there are posh things, like globe artichokes, or asparagus

i sure hope you're going to grow some sort of cabbage the best veg that is after carrots

i tryed to grow letuce last year and i failed and also with onions

If you (or rather your parents) like salads then I think the best is baby-leaf salad. You can get all sorts of mixtures so need to experiment. But I think they are wonderful and much easier than hearted lettuce to grow. There are a few problems you can get but the main thing is to keep sowing small amounts every week or 2. One of the best things to grow in my opinion.

It might be fun to grow "wrong coloured" stuff, like purple carrots & yellow tomatoes.

I did white beetroot, yellow carrot, purple french beans and purple brussels for fun.

The biggest wow I got this year was vegetable spaghetti, mainly coz I didn't think it would actually work, baked it like marrow and it didn't seem to change until you cut it the WOW it was spaghetti!!! but then again I am a small child in this middle aged body

Jungle Seeds do things like yard long beans and things. Or tea etc if you're feeling adventurous. Also Mexican giant sweetcorn. Purple carrots, red beans etc you can get from most places like Suttons.
