Fuming today of the service or lack of it we got from Santander. We tried to buy Euros on Thursday night on the internet through the orange supermarket. We were told that the transaction cancelled with no explanation. The supermarket were told that the bank declined the transaction. However for some...

Re: B-----ds

I deliberately avoided the 'killing for fun' side of the issue, though I would point out that the bringing a load of cash into the countryside arguement is the main arguement put forward by those who would wish to harrass the Buzzards (step forward those one-time '' defenders of the Countryside and ...

Re: Getting a Land Rover

On consultation with a friend "in the know" looks like a discovery might be a good bet. I love the 2CV idea but we need one to actually get there first!! Might look into when we're there as a fall back.

Re: Getting a Land Rover

Problem is that we're going to the corezze which is usually under snow 2-3 months of the year. The 4x4 is kind of a must. I'll look into the susuki, how easy is it to maintain yourself?

Getting a Land Rover

Might seem unsual to talk about getting a 4x4 on here but I was wondering if anyone has experience owning a landy. Before we get to France I'm going to sell our current car and get a secondhand Landy. Reason being that, as far as I understand, you can be quite selfsufficient with the older models. A...

It caused a small war that almost came to blows, so we p...

Also speak to the gp about the course "boost your mood" run at Gloscester college. I went and it really helped. I think. I am still a grumpy old man but I think that's just me!!

Only issue I had was when I first started taking it. It made me stoned for about a week. Other than issues with alcohol when I forgot to take it I'm afraid to say cant help. Whats the problem?
