Re: How do I travel?

Just a thought but might it not be better to take the children when they are a little older and able to appreciate what they are seeing? I doubt if I'd remember anything if my parents had taken me somewhere when I was 1. 4 or 5 maybe, but not 1. It's not for the children's benefit that I want to go...

Re: How do I travel?

Hahahahahahaha I felt pretty similar to most of the responses but hoped there was something I was missing and secretly travelling was really was and cheap to do with little ones! Not realistic? Never mind, I will have to be happy planning the trip then - for the next 10 years! I think it migh...

How do I travel?

I am desperate to travel. I want to trek across Nepal - that sort of thing. Please can anyone with any useful information share it with me! Can I do it with two small children (4 and 1 at the moment)? Will it cost me a lot. Can me and/or my husband work as we go? How? I want to travel ...

Re: Men and Money!!!

Skippy it was certainly meant as a compliment. A lot of couples say they have the normal arguments that everyone does but I think they are unaware that there are many couples who are happy together and don't argue. They don't have any less problems than anyone else they just deal with them different...

Re: Men and Money!!!

I feel the post skippy made says a lot. He doesn't argue about much at all I think if you argue about money it's more to do with your relationship and your attitudes than it is to do with finances. As people in here have shown there are loads of different ways to make it work for you but as long as ...

Re: Letting go

I totally agree with you. It's all about acceptance and getting love form others because you son't love yourself enough etc I know I can't control others, I can only change my attitude and how I view things and believe me im trying! I've done and am doing CBT. I think it's def the way t...

Re: Letting go

That makes total sense. If I've managed not to remember it, I clearly didn't give a shit in the first place! I definitely like the bit about remembering but it not causing pain - you're obviously going to remember things, stuff pops up in your memory all the time, it's them not hurting that I'd like...

Re: Letting go

I've had a therapist while it was all going on and he's been wonderfully helpful. I feel I've got as far as I can there and perhaps will try to find for a different perspective ut I suspect I know all the theory, it's putting it in to practice that needs work! I think my problem comes primarily from...

Carcassonne

We're thinking of going to Carcassonne in the south of France and would like to know if anyone could tell us the best beach to visit near by. We're hoping there will be lots of culture to soak up in Carcassonne so we're looking for a beach/sun/holiday feel for when visiting the coast if you see what...

Re: Letting go

I think I have a sort of solution. Ish! My problem is I need to talk about things and 'clear the air' and understand the other persons point of view (which I try hard to do and am happy to admit if I was wrong or I didn't understand to start with) and explain myself so I am understood. My parents in...

Letting go

We have had a lot of upset with my husbands family and although now things are very good I find it difficult to let go of the past. Any tips on forgiving and most importantly for me, forgetting?
