Re: Apple incident!

We once had some lovely damson wine fermenting in the airing cupboard of our brand new married quarter and it went BANG! It re-coloured all the cupboard as well as all the towels etc., and being a deep red it took loads of layers of good old magnolia to make it look okay again  .

Black Onion Seed.

Has anyone ever used black onion seed or nigella seed in breadmaking? I'm always looking to try new things in the breadmaker and wondered what they tasted like if added. I've never used them before so what do they taste like and i assume you have to roast them first?

Re: Alternative Christmas Dinner

Many years ago Dave and I had a Christmas by ourselves (we don't have any children) away in our caravan on a campsite that was only ten miles from home but it was lovely, just getting away from the phone and TV. Everything went well and I cooked the full dinner only to have Dave say 'I'm feeling ill...

Re: Sleeping in Separate Bedrooms

We love to cuddle up at night but it does have it's problems as I also like to have some of the quilt over me and he snores in my ear. Just goes to show what you can get with a bit of effort, a great idea. Unfortunately my out-laws wouldn't appreciate that kind of thing (more fool them). Well done.

Re: Labyrinthitis

My hubby had this a few years ago and it was terrible. He was constantly sick, couldn't walk as he fell over. He went into hospital for a week and somehow, not sure how, they managed to get it sorted but he had MRI scans and it took 8 weeks to get to the point where he could walk okay and another 8 ...
