Re: tv license

It would be better if they simply blocked access to it with a licence number being needed to enter, wouldn't it? If some programmes come up with the licence or no licence message, it's not very clear. Are there plans afoot to make a more professional arrangement, I wonder.

5BX and XBX

Can anyone make sense of the 5BX and XBX exercise regime? Is there a simplified process somewhere in the depths of the internet that I haven't found?

School dinners

Does anyone remember rainbow sponge pudding and pink custard, and where those particular recipes can be found?

tv license

I'm confused - sometimes when I try to watch bbc catchup iplayer, it asks if I have a license, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes, even if it's an English programme it isn't available even though it was aired earlier in the day (2up, 2down, for example). Can anyone explain?

Hide wires?

I have wires running on the outside of a wall up the side of the stairs that are covered with a long narrow box-like thing holding them against the wall. Is there a way to somehow tuck the wires into the wall so that it can me nice and smooth?

Re: English restaurants

What's the point of inspections then? They may as well simply stop the whole hygiene inspections farce.
